As the first issue of the POD magazine, *Violence* was originally published in 2019, and many years have passed since then. During this time, *Violence* has gone through several reprints, and it’s heartening to know that many readers have drawn strength from it. Yet violence is a topic that never truly ends. Although the works in this issue are quite raw, I still hope more people can see it—and talk about it, again and again. As one of the creators, Jiajia, said in a media interview a few years ago: “ I’ve now learned how to protect myself in my own way. But I want more people to know that being bullied is not your fault. I’m not trying to blame anyone, but it really isn’t your fault. That’s why I put my story in there.”

Thank you to all of you who have been brave—because if we don’t talk about violence, we can never truly prevent it.

《Violence》作为POD的第一期杂志，距离2019年首次出版已经过去多年，在这期间《Violence》进行了多次印制，欣慰有很多读者从中获得力量。但暴力，是一个不会停止的话题，虽然这一期的创作非常稚嫩，但我还是希望更多人可以看到它，然后一遍遍去谈论它，就像主创之一嘉佳几年前在接受媒体采访时说：“我现在已经学会通过自己的方法保护我自己了，但我想让更多的人知道，被欺负的人并没有错。我不是想怪谁，但是真的不是你的错，所以我把我的故事放进去。”——感谢勇敢的你们：如果我们不谈论暴力，就无法真正地避免它。
